Click to enlarge. The relics are powerful, but they must be gathered. Different combinations offer different powers to the Sim who possesses them. There are 9 in total, 27 if you count the different degrees of power.
Relics are a powerful new resource available to players who own The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure, unlike artifacts which are purely for hoarding and earning money. Gathering all the relics takes a bit of time due to the randomness, but the high archeology levels will make it much easier to build a full collection. They’re not just decorations: each one has a useful (or problematic) feature that the Sim who owns it can activate at will. See how it works and what relics do for your Sims.
find relics
Relics are found while using thearcheology skillthat comes with Jungle Adventure. Excavating dig sites and opening temple treasure chests will yield the two components needed to form a relic. Setting up dig sites and using the ability’s ability to search for more (and set/dig) as you go is probably the fastest way to get relics. Temples contain relics in chests and also have excavation sites, so doing this inside the temple is probably the best way to locate all the main bases and combinations.

There are three types of bases for making a relic: Death, Chaos, and Observer. Each has a rune symbol. These can be assembled with Relic Caps in your inventory. The main relics come in three flavors: Balampalsoh (a cat), Toteclam (a llama), and Zazatotl (a bird).

Each base and lid combination produces a different heirloom. You can get either a Chaos Balampalsh or a Death Totecallam, which means there are nine possible combinations. This is done through inventory. Simply click on one of the two when you have a base and top in your inventory and select the other from the menu that appears. Your Sim will put them together and watch in amazement as the relic lights up. But it still can’t be used. One more step is required before you can use a relic!

Click to enlarge. You can send crystals to be refined for a fee, or do it yourself with the archeology skill. I suggest the latter. It’s faster and you’ll need archeology anyway!
Along with high level archeology, your Sim learns how to craft refined crystals. these are normalbase game crystals, fixed by the archaeologist to be more pure. This is done on the Archeology Table that you use to dust off the artifacts. It doesn’t matter what crystal you use to refine, its rarity matters. There are three categories of rarity, visible when you hover over the crystal in your inventory: common, uncommon, and rare. The rarer the crystal, the more powerful your relic will become. Relics in your inventory can be clicked to activate once you have a refined crystal. Common relics can fail or have inferior effects and can even backfire. Rare relics are extremely powerful.

With the three bases, lids, and crystal rarities, you get a total of 27 possible combinations. Here are the relics, sorted by relic type, what base you use, and what the common, uncommon, and rare crystals will do when you use them to activate the relic. Relics are initially named, for example, Golden Totecallam Relic, while a base is Death Base Relic. Combine them and you will get a Totecallam Deathly Hallow. The appearance also changes, with the relic highlighting the crystal. There are golden varieties of all of them, which comes with the benefit ofnever break.
In general, relics seem to recharge in around four to six hours.. They can break. Greater skill in archeology can reduce the chance of this happening.

As mentioned, the antidote from the computer can heal Marked for Death, or you can talk to the locals until they ask about the antidote, as long as you have bone powder (read more). The Disease of the Ancients (that of the Relic of the Watcher Totecallam, “Curse of the Ancients”) can be cured with a special ingredient. This requires bonemeal and level 1 cooking – just be near a stove with both on hand. You can get bone dust by talking to skeletons, digging in the jungle, and opening treasure chests. You can buy skill level 5 bone powder from the Selvadoradian culture. The statue in the market can be used to cure some curses, just give an offering.

With a high Selvadorada culture skill, you can buy them from these scouting equipment vendors in their hidden supply and it’s the easiest way to get them. You can buy 99 random top and bottom clothes at a time. You can even buy three types of ordinary refined crystals. For unusual or rare crystals, you have to find and refine them yourself.

The Balampalsh Watcher Relic Wealth Blessing seems to continue to pay off with “royalties” for at least a few days after receiving the blessing. The amount seems to be decreasing rapidly, but the first few royalty payments can exceed the initial gift of 500 simoleons.

What is the problem with autoplaying videos on this site? I stop them and they start playing by themselves after a few seconds. This is really annoying and I don’t think I will ever come back to this site.

I’m sorry you’re having issues, I always downplay them and they stay downplayed throughout my visit. Ultimately, Carl needs to make a living, and I personally think it’s only fair that people bet (in the form of an advertisement) on the time and energy he spends creating these guides. If he just wants the information without acknowledging your hard work, time, and commitment over the years, he can always use an ad blocker.

I have obtained better quality relics with lower quality stones. I suspect that cultural and/or archaeological skills could play a role in this.
Also, one of my sims cursed himself with greedy needs, but after desperately working to recharge them immediately, it became a blessed need for the remaining time the sim was supposed to be cursed, with a very decay rate. , very low, much slower. in all the needs of my sims. He only needs sleep once every three days and not even a full night.
It makes me wonder if the Food Mirage curse can be twisted into that Divine Blessing of Taste that you can sometimes get by exploring temples.

I accidentally found out that if your sim has a boon on them, they can’t receive any curse by activating the wrong trap.

A pop-up box will ask which crystal you wish to use. Once the relic, base, and refined crystal are gathered, any Sim (regardless of Skills) can assemble it. Simply interact with the base in the Sim’s inventory and use the “Fuse With…” command, then select which relic you wish to mount in it.

The player who sees the shielded enemy needs to call out their room. The person holding the Relic will then sprint over and enter the portal. Only the Relic can break the shield so use it to take down the shielded enemy. The player who entered the room will notice they have a debuff called Teleport Destabilized.
